Location and surrounding

The Eifel-Camp, which is located in the northern Eifel, is situated only a few kilometres away from Blankenheim and close to Lake Freilingen at the south-eastern margin of a smooth valley right in the countryside.

You can reach the Eifel-Camp within half an hour coming from the direction of Cologne, from Aachen, Bonn and Koblenz in less than an hour and driving from Trier will take c. 1.5 hours.

The site is an inviting place for a recreative stop for travellers from the south choosing the A1 and taking the country road short-cut.

The Nürburgring is c. 20 km away.

In the region of the northern Eifel you will find intact nature with many nature parks and the Eifel Nationalpark next to a bounteousness of sights, romantic towns, zoos, museums and other places of interest.

The area invites you to extended walks, mountainbike and motorbike trips as well as to excursions.

Shopping possibilities are located in the close-by villages of Freilingen and Reetz.
