Zoos

A visit at the zoo is a very special experience for the whole family. You can easily reach several zoos from the Eifel-Camp.

The wildlive park in Hellenthal hosts many native animals on an area of 65 hectare: red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, sika deer, wild boars, moufflon, bear, aurochs, bison and many different birds of prey. At the famous birds of prey station falconers show flying falcons, buzzards and eagles several times a day. A zoo hosting animals to pet enables the direct contact to the animals.

The wildlive and adventure park in Daun offers the possibility to drive through the park for eight kilometres. You can stop at several view points from where you can watch the deer, take pictures and feed them. You can see wild horses, yaks and moufflons. Young visitors can romp around in the adventure park and can even have direct contact to Berber monkeys in the monkey gorge.
